Cathedral Rock – Distance: 1.2 miles out-and-back
Difficulty: Easy (1.2 mi Deadwood state park ranch. out and back) | Moderate-Hard (9 mi loop)
- Crescent Moon Picnic Site (SUNDAY)
- Alternative Exploration: Visitors often explore the area around the base of Cathedral Rock from the Crescent Moon side, but a direct, easy hike to the top is not available. E-bikes are also available in the area for exploring designated paths, but not unpaved hiking trails.

- Participants must be 18 years old. 15-18 years olds can participate with parental consent and a minimum height of 4 feet, 6 inches tall. PARENTAL CONSENT FORMS must be filled out and submitted prior to the event.
