Description

A hand crafted bokken made from solid white oak hardwood, with a light natural stain and polyurethane finish. This tachi style bokken has a longer blade, deeper curve, and more graceful tapered shape. Tachi bokkens are  made from solid hardwood that has been laminated for added strength. Features the Musashi Edition of the original “Dragonhead Sword” handle used by Duncan MacLeod, as seen in the first two seasons of the television series. 

The Musashi is a recarved version of the original prop used on the show and was created by the same artist as the original (Sal D’Aquila) to have cleaner details and a better feel in the hands. The handle is cast in high strength resin and antiqued to match its appearance in key scenes from the show.
