Sword Experience is coming back to England for a spectacular 2-DAY EVENT on July 31st and August 1st! Join Adrian Paul for a truly unforgettable adventure starting off at Hazlewood Castle on Day 1. You will also have several choices to join, as a spectator, or participant, for one, or both days, as well as a one-night stay at a Hazelwood, a castle with 1000 years of history. We start at Hazlewood Castle, nestled in 77 acres of stunning woodland in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. A perfect location to for relaxation, adventure, and more. Here you will train in the morning, then have the opportunity to try your hand at axe throwing, or archery. Then, have lunch with us in one of the castles first-class restaurants. Before returning to training and filming, in the afternoon relax or visit the stunning grounds or check-in for your night of royal slumber in one of the oldest fortified houses to survive the whole of Yorkshire.
If you decide to stay the night in one of Hazleton’s historic rooms, then you’ll meet at the castle to either, drive yourself, or travel with us by coach to all of the day’s locations. Your day of exploration will include visiting and performing the choreography you learned on Sunday, at some of the country’s most amazing locations. If you don’t want to start at Hazelwood, no problem. Meet us at each location.
Royal Armouries Museum

The first stop, is The Royal Armories in Leeds where you will explore legendary weapons and armor used throughout history. Here you will marvel at the Paintings. Muskets, Swords, and Armor, created for both humans and animals, that our ancestors created to defend and conquer.
Kirkstall Abbey
Abbey Rd, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3EH, United Kingdom
Next will be Kirkstall Abbey one of the best-preserved Cistercian monasteries in the country, founded over 800 years ago. This historic icon with its romantic ruins, has been the backdrop for artists, television shows, concerts and now, a wonderful place to show off your skills.
Harewood House
Harewood House, Harewood, Leeds LS17 9LG, United Kingdom
Lastly, there is Harewood House, a site that cannot be overlooked. This stunning country house was a filming location in the popular TV show Downton Abbey and the 1991 comedy film King Ralph among many others. Here you can marvel at the stately rooms before again facing your partner to be filmed in front of this stunning 18th century British Treasure House.

Axe Throwing $40:
Axe throwing is a fantastic experience that, just like the targets, you won’t want to miss. The axe throwing activity is suitable for all abilities and levels of challenge – including complete beginners.
Archery $40:
During your archery activity you’ll gain a great understanding of your very own bow and arrows, and will learn fun facts about this increasingly popular sport. From crossbows to longbows, you’ll learn all you need to know about mastering this medieval method of mirth.
Gold Bokken Upgrade $75:
Your own CUSTOMIZED bokken, dedicated by Adrian Paul – priceless
Customize the blade length on your Classic White Oak Sword Experience bokken! The handle is a carbon kevlar cast of a traditional wrapped Japanese tsuka (handle). Gold Experience tickets must be ordered at least 4 weeks prior to this event.
EVENT DETAILS & RESTRICTIONS:
- All Participants must READ, DIGITALLY SIGN, & SUBMIT the following three forms before purchase:

3. IMAGE RELEASE - No photos or videos are allowed during the Sword event.
- Participants must be 18 years old. 15-18 years olds can participate with parental consent and a minimum height of 4 feet, 6 inches tall. PARENTAL CONSENT FORMS must be filled out and submitted prior to the event.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
These are the COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for all Sword Experience events to be followed until the foreseeable future.
1. Social Distancing – There will be no touching, handshaking, high fives, (or spooning), or any other type of physical contact between people during the event.
2. All attendees will maintain at least 3ft from each other.
3. Bokkens will be wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes prior to use. After each break, it is the attendees responsibility to wipe the bokken with anti-bacterial wipes prior to continuing. Wipes will be supplied or, BYO.
4. Attendees temperature will be taken prior to the event. Promise, it will be painless.
5. Any participant showing signs of coughing or fever, will not be admitted to the event.
6. Attendees must bring their own pen/marker to mark supplied bottled water, OR must bring their own water, which cannot be shared with others. OR
7. Individual photos with Adrian will be adjusted so that there is no physical contact. But we’ll keep them fun like the example below. This is the time for you to be creative.
8. No items can be shared (towels, water bottles, bags, underwear, etc.) The norm.
9.All chairs for spectators will be apart, at least 3ft to “as far as you like it”. Have fun and be Diligent
All attendants to our events must provide proof of vaccination or provide proof of a negative covid test from within 48 hours prior to attending the event.
