This is a photoshoot still of Adrian Paul holding the Katana in an inverted position that became an iconic look for Duncan Macleod. The left hand is ready for a counter attack, coming from a Chinese style of sword fighting, therefore incongruous with a traditional Katana stance. But Duncan Macleod was never traditional.
