An introduction for children and adults alike\, to the Vitae Vim Virtus Institute. The first day get a sampling of the real life techniques implemented for Light sabers and open hand techniques. Then the second day put it all into practice in a filmed story called “The First Resistance” where both adults and children will work together to make the story come alive. Join Adrian and his team this April 29th and 30th and don’t miss the fun. \nThe First Resistance\nIn a small village on Earth\, hidden away from the prying eyes of the world\, a group of children gather every day to train. Behind them\, a large space ship hovers above the bay\, a reminder of the way earth has now turned to the stars. The children are learning the way of the Force\, just like the Knights they have heard about in stories. In front of them\, a middle-aged man\, once a Knight himself\, before the Empire rose to power and destroyed everything he had known and loved. The kids were too young to understand the full weight of their training\, but they knew that it was important. They practiced with sticks\, pretending they were light swords and blasters. They learned to control their breathing and their thoughts\, to move objects with their minds\, and to sense the world around them in a way that others couldn’t. As we move around them\, time passes\, their sticks turn into light swords\, the space ship in the sky changes to a dark ominous star killer\, and the middle-aged man has become old. As we pull back\, we see they are fighting troopers who had once subjugated them and their families. They are the first resistance fighters\, to stand against the might of the empire.In the end\, the resistance group emerges victorious.
